FAQ

Questions, Answered

  1. 01Is drone cleaning as effective as manual washing?

Yes for the surfaces we service — the aircraft delivers the same deionized-water, contact-optional cleaning method as ground equipment, without the access constraints of a ladder or a lift.

  2. 02What happens if the drone loses signal mid-job?

Every job is flown within visual line of sight by a Part 107 certified pilot who maintains direct control throughout. Commercial drone operations are required to follow FAA procedures for handling a lost connection, and the pilot — not the aircraft — remains responsible for the flight at every stage.

  3. 03Can you fly near controlled airspace?

San Diego County includes controlled airspace around San Diego International, MCAS Miramar, and several general aviation airports. Flights in controlled airspace require LAANC authorization requested for that specific area and time window — it isn't a standing clearance. Every job is planned around this before the aircraft leaves the ground.

  4. 04How is stormwater runoff handled?

Every job involving surfactants near a storm drain follows MS4 stormwater best-practice containment. This is an operating practice, not a certification, and it's built into how each job near a drain is planned.
